No work-related incidents or injuries in the Canadian upstream oil and gas industry.
Enform is the upstream oil and gas industry's advocate and leading resource for the continuous improvement of safety performance. Our mission is to help companies achieve their safety goals by providing practices, assessment, training, support, metrics and communication.
Enform has changed dramatically since it was first created more than 50 years ago.
Today, safety is an essential part of the workplace culture and the industry has established safety and training standards. People working in the industry recognize that they have an important role to play in health and safety.
But the evolution of safety must continue. Our goal is to eliminate work-related incidents or injuries of any sort in the upstream oil and gas industry. To achieve this, we know we can’t slow down. We’re working 24/7 to create a safer workplace and a culture of safety for our workforce.
Enform was created by the six industry associations as a not-for-profit, with a mandate to serve as the hub of safety for the upstream oil and gas industry.
We work together, across industry segments and associations, with government and regulatory bodies and in collaboration with our partner associations, to promote health and safety practices through safety management planning. We provide innovative training, certifications, services and resources needed to get the job done safely.
We touch the lives of hundreds of thousands of workers each year. The new recruits and the seasoned employees working alongside them, the energy producers, drilling, geophysical, service and pipeline companies – we work with every segment of the upstream oil and gas industry with a goal to ensure everyone goes home safely every day.
To serve industry efficiently, our offices and classrooms are located in centres of oil and gas activity. Each location offers a customized blend of products and services, to meet the diverse needs of industry:
