WCB PIR Benefits for Alberta Employers

Companies in Alberta that achieve an Enform COR or SECOR are eligible for Alberta Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) premium reductions through the WCB Partners in Injury Reduction (PIR) program.

Once a COR is earned, your company could qualify for a 5% discount on premiums. Moreover, if PIR-registered employers reduce their current claim costs compared to their past claim costs; they could qualify for a PIR discount of up to 20%. Companies achieving at least 50% lower than industry average claim costs for two consecutive years could also qualify for a PIR discount of up to 20%.

If you are an Alberta employer, you should register for the PIR program alongside registering your company with Enform prior to your first COR/SECOR audit.
