Where to Start

The Certified Instructor Program was initiated in January 2010. The course development schedule designates all course materials will be available by September 2010.

Currently, Making Training More Effective, the equivalency course for existing instructors* and the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) are available. The program development course ADDIE will be available in March. Other will be accessible as they become available.

Registration Procedures

Individuals wishing to register for the Making Training More Effective course should call Enform registration at 403-250-9606 0r 1-800-667-5557 and ask to be enrolled in the course. Upon completion data will be tracked in your program directory on the Instructional Support Site.

*Franchise and Contract instructors who have completed the Enform Instructor Training program have been grandfathered for nine (9) of the twelve (12) learning units required to complete the ISW learning unit equivalency.  Making Training More Effective (MTME) provides three (3) learning units; therefore, the grandfathered nine (9) learning units and three (3) from MTME provides a total of twelve (12) learning units for the ISW equivalency.

Note: The minimum learning unit requirement for each year is Six (6); however, grandfathered equivalency is not accepted; therefore, an additional three (3) learning units , totaling six (6) must be obtained prior to the end of 2010 to remain enrolled in the program.

Note: The Enform Training Conference provides the opportunity to earn three (3) additional Learning Units. The CID course Claaaroom Management offered as a workshop both before and after the formal conferrence proceeding. The Classroom Management course provides two (2)  Learning Units for completion and conference attendance provides one (1) Learning Unit; three (3) Units from the conference.

Additional learning units may be obtained from additional course work, and/or attendance at the 2010 Training Conference. Conference attendees are provided with the opportunity to complete the Classroom Management course - Two (2) learning units, within the conference at no additional charge. An additional learning unit is granted for conference attendance.

Note: An addition learning unit is available for presenting within the conference proceedings.
