Alcohol and Drug Policy Workshop
Description
This half-day workshop was developed and endorsed by the six sponsoring
associations of Enform. It is intended for managers and others who may be
responsible for the safe operations of their business units. This
instructor-led, classroom lecture provides an overview of the Model and basic
guidance in the implementation of an Alcohol and Drug policy. Topics include
identification of possible substance abuse, employer and supervisor
responsibilities, and a guide for identifying safety=sensitive positions.
Additional guidelines are discussed regarding compliance with existing
legislation and testing programs.
