Enform Connect Instructors Update
Simpler & Faster Class Submission and Certification
Beginning November 20th!
November 10, 2011

Over the past 50 years Enform has been dedicated to reducing the incidence of workplace injuries in the upstream oil and gas industry. Our commitment has seen us evolve over the years. A key area for attention now, is our administration processes. We know there is a need to for us to quicken the pace to get a newly trained worker to the job with the certification they need.

Beginning in mid November, we will implement a fully revamped system of class submission and certification. We’ve aimed our efforts towards achieving a much, much more efficient process from ordering right through to certification. For you, this change will be quick, easy, and cost free.

The benefits of this new system are many including:

  • Class numbers are no longer needed
  • Instructor’s status can be checked online
  • No more “Fast Track”, no data-entry needed
  • Materials orders can be purchased online, (as well as by phone)
  • Students and instructors will provide all the details we need to certify on one document per student
  • You will send these documents to us – by courier, at our cost – and you’re done! There is nothing else for you to do
  • You won’t have to wait for and track the arrival of certificates as we’ll mail the certificates directly to the student
  • No more “Where’s my certificate?” calls for you to field. Enform will be entirely responsible for the distribution of all certificates

This new process will not only reduce the majority of your administrative work but will also reduce certification time significantly. Data entry will be almost fully automated – at both your end and ours. Eliminating the time consuming process of mailing certifications to you, only to have you mail them again to the student, will result in real, measurable time savings.

Attached you will find details on how to prepare for this change, how to submit your class information to us from November 20th onward, and full details on the new protocols. These changes will ensure we reach our goal of improved service levels, processing speed, efficiency and accuracy. All the details included here can also be accessed on our website by visiting: http://www.enform.ca/instructors/Class_Submission_Protocol/submission_protocol.aspx

New Class Submission Process

Preparation and submissions are so easy you could begin to follow the new protocol as soon as you receive the new Student Data Sheets. The new protocol is made up of the simple addition of one form for each student to complete. This one form, the Student Data Sheet, will replace many of the current steps you currently perform to submit your classes. As of November 15, all class submissions must follow the new process in order to be certified under the new system.

To Prepare For the November 20th Changeover

Preparation for this change is very simple. Your current materials inventory is perfectly valid, however you will need to order one “Student Data Sheet” for each manual you currently have. One Student Data Sheet is required for each student you teach, so send us the number of manuals you currently have plus 20% to account for any errors made when completing.

When ordering these Student Data Sheets, order mailing labels for as many classes as you plan to run. You’ll need one label for each class. These self sticking labels must be used to mail your submissions via Canada Post Courier Service, directly to us.

You can order these Student Data Sheets and courier labels by emailing customerservice@enform.ca or by calling 1.800.667.5557 and choosing the option for “Franchisee & Instructors”.

Once you have these two new items – you will have everything you need.

Review the Steps To Class Submission included with this letter and access and view the Class Submission Tutorial at:

http://www.enform.ca/instructors/Class_Submission_Protocol/submission_protocol.aspx

Run your classes with this new protocol right away. Your current submission process cannot be accepted after the 20th of November. Fast Track will not be functional after this date.

Note: When ordering materials between now and November 20h, for any classes you intend to run on or after the 20th of November, be sure to request the new material kits. The new kits contain both Student Data Sheets and return labels. If you have any questions please email them to customerservice@enform.ca and we’ll get you the information you need as soon as possible.
