Enform is presently working with Alberta Employment & Immigration (AE&I), WorkSafeBC and industry on Managing Worker Exposure to Controlled Products. Enform will assist in the development of a Best Practices Guide to Industry Specific Controlled Products Handling / WHMIS at Oil & Gas Lease Sites (name/title to be determined by committee).
This guide will assist employers and employees on safe and correct methods of controlled product handling and to ensure knowledge of specific responsibilities and compliance requirements under Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS). This guide will also include valuable tools for the oil & gas industry, such as exposure control plans on industry specific issues i.e. drilling fluids.
