Introduction to OH & S Legislation Training

This awareness course familiarizes participants located in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba with the structure of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and enables them to identify and locate the statutes and regulations that apply to their worksite and organizational activities.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion that does not expire.


Every three years the owner or senior manager of all companies who hold a Small Employer Certification of Recognition (SECOR) must take a program related to Health and Safety in order to ensure continuous improvement of their HSMS. Attendance in such programs is required to prevent small employers from having their SECOR status interrupted or terminated. This program qualifies as a maintenance program.
