Electrical Maintenance Training

With a focus on electrical safety, this course meets the training requirements for non-electricians performing tasks under Section 24 of the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Act.

Applicants must be currently employed in the petroleum industry, with at least three years of related experience.

 APPLICATION PROCESS

Your application must be approved prior to registering for this course.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion that is valid for three years.

Owner companies are responsible for providing information and hands-on training to workers who have completed this course, as per the limitations and conditions for types of work. It is expected that a qualified person, such as an electrician, will provide the training and qualify trainees to perform the specific tasks they would be asked to do.
